Jay Bianchi
Jay is an award winning NYC based pianist, producer, composer & educator. He holds a performance certificate from Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, a Master of Music from the University of Miami in jazz studies and a Bachelor of Music from SUNY at Fredonia in music education. Jay has toured and performed internationally with grammy award winning artist Nigel Kennedy and composter/flutist David Heath. His most recent projects include performing & recording with John Patitucci (on Jay's 2 critically acclaimed trio CD’s released on ilovestress records) as well as co-producing new artist Liam Hendrix Heath. Recently he has worked with Bette Midler, Glenn Close, Leslie Gore and producer Angelo DiPippo. He is keeping busy as a producer in the NYC indie-music circuit and performing on Broadway in the hit musical BILLY ELLIOT. As an educator, Jay is on the piano faculty at the New School Jazz Program.
